Women's Sessions

Here I focus on particular on pelvic floor work, strengthening for osteoporosis, perimenopause, menopause and
post natal related issues.

These sessions are perfect for you if:
-
you are experiencing physical symptoms (for example joint aches, muscle weakness, stiffness) caused by perimenopause or menopause.
-
you need to improve your bone and muscle mass without impacting your joints.
-
you would like to build up your strength and improve your balance as you approach later life to ensure better quality of movement and to maintain a full lifestyle.
-
you need help with your energy levels, fatigue, anxiety, overwhelm or mood swings. Reformer Pilates will calm, relax and optimise your body which will then reflect in a calmer emotional and mental state.
Sports Conditioning

Where I adapt the sessions for your specific athletic requirements.

These sessions suit you if you want to excel in your chosen sport:
-
Strengthening and stretching with Pilates reformers will enable you to excel at your own individual chosen sport whether it be gymnastics, running, tennis, or any sport that requires core strength, agility, balance and coordination.
-
Pilates will also improve your flexibility as well as the functioning of your smaller muscle groups, in addition to the larger muscle groups that you use most frequently.
Standard Reformer Training

At Beginner, Intermediate and
Advanced level.

These sessions are perfect for you if:
-
You want to enhance your quality of life by learning to move correctly through Pilates, minimise wear and tear on your body and help promote your natural movement and breathing.
-
You would like to improve your:
- core strength & muscle tone
- posture and alignment
- flexibility
- joint, ligament & spinal mobility
- strength & balance
- stress & tension levels
I would recommend 2 or 3 sessions at beginner level to build a strong foundation for your Pilates practise. As you develop we can move from building your technique onto sculpting, incorporating a wider range of movement and strengthening.
