Julia Louise Pilates is a small independent studio. This PRIVACY POLICY explains how we process any personal data we collect when you visit the studio in person, register on our website or use our digital products. Any data we do collect is done with your permission and is only used by us for essential communication about class and appointment bookings, the purchase of products and services and relevant and appropriate direct marketing designed to enhance your experience and the services we offer. We do not share your data with third parties at any time. Julia Louise Pilates takes your privacy seriously and is committed to ensuring that your personal data is protected. Should we ask you to provide information when registering on our booking system or website you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
HOW WE COLLECT YOUR DATA
Julia Louise Pilates collects your name, email address and other relevant personal data such as phone number, postal address, emergency contact, referral type, date of birth and gender (where appropriate) when you register through our booking system. We also collect personal data in-house through a hard copy Health and Waiver Form. This is required by our insurance company and provides essential information required to work within our professional and studio guidelines. We are required by law to keep client records for seven years after last visit. These records are kept in a locked file when not in use and only seen by personnel who have direct dealings with the client’s programme or bookings.

We use email and SMS (text) as the primary form of communication with you if you are an existing customer.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA
We do not share your information with any third party. If you are under the care of another practitioner, be that a doctor or manipulative / physical therapist we will ask that you pass on any relevant information, rather than us speaking to them directly, unless both parties have your express permission.
